Shamanic Counselling
Shamanic Healing comes from the indigenous medicine men and women of tribal cultures throughout the world. It is said to have origins dating back to the Stone Age.
Shamanism is the oldest spiritual practice known to mankind, practiced worldwide for the last 30,000 to 40,000 years. For many, the word “shaman” refers to a spiritual healer, medicine man, medicine woman or spirit doctor capable of accessing secret knowledge and healing powers. Throughout history, shamans have divined information for their tribe and served as storytellers, spiritual leaders, counselors, and healers. Those in the “shamanic state of consciousness” are able to enter into and perceive the Spirit world by means of journeying. In this sense, shamanism is a relationship-based practice of making changes in invisible realms to impact healing, of individuals or communities, in the realm of ordinary reality.
I know this from personal experience as my introduction to medicine woman healing was literally a life-changing event. Shamanism is studied and practiced as a life path. Following a shamanistic perspective, individuals seek to be in relationship with the spirit in all things.
Shamanic healing is based on a holistic approach to health where everything is interconnected.
It incorporates a number of different elements, including:
Physical
Mental
Emotional
Spiritual balance
Shamanic healing tools that may be employed include guided meditation, breathwork, pressure point work, massage, ritual, aromatherapy, precious stone therapy, bodywork and sound therapy including chanting and drumming, dancing. These can be used in conjunction with other natural therapies such as herbal medicine, counseling, and meditation. In shamanistic cultures, all adults are responsible for their relationships with spiritual energies, including those of their home environment their ancestors, their own personal helping spirits, and Spirit, the creator force.
As a skilled Listener, Seer, Guide, and Teacher I can help with these and other issues:
finding or returning to healthy self-esteem
Growing toward fulfilling spirituality
Shifting, purifying stagnant energy from enjoying the sweetness of life in balance with its challenges
Enabling the expression of your own deepest creativity, calling, purpose.
How does shamanic counseling provide help for people?
The spirit world can provide information on the nature of problems and suffering and offer possible solutions. Most suffering in human life has to do with disconnection and imbalance. Shamanic healing methods can increase your connection to the earth, the spiritual dimensions, your higher self, as well as your physical world.
Shamanic counseling can help you experience the magic and mystery of spiritual forces acting to help you in this world and can discernibly help you live a better life.
Shamanic assistance can increase a person’s sense of being loved and cared for by the universe.
Shamanism can empower you to help yourself and to manifest what is desired in your life more quickly and to have a daily relationship with the sacred.
Psychology and traditional religions usually work differently.
Essentially everything is alive.
Energy and matter are the same. Everything is vibration. Everything that exists is an energy system within an energy system.
Everything exists and is connected to everything else in a web of life.

Medwinequas; Important to note that Shamanic Healing Ceremonies supplement western medicine, therapy, and modern medical practices. A Shamanic Healing Ceremony is not a replacement for medical or psychological treatment and it does not conflict with such treatment. Therefore Shamanic Healing Ceremonies, modern medicine, and psychological counseling can all work together to treat a person on all levels. Shamanic Healing Ceremonies are also a spiritual, and not a religious, practice. So it can work together with almost anyone's personal belief system.
